Iraq closes 5 ports to trade exchange with Iran

The Iraqi Border Ports Authority announced today, Sunday, the closure of 5 ports to trade exchange with Iran.

The authoritys spokesperson, Alaeddin Al-Qaisi, said that it was decided to close the land outlets, which include Shalamcheh, Al-Shayeb, Zurbatiyah, Al-Mundhiriyah, and Mandali, in front of the trade exchange movement with Iran, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
