The Sultanate of Oman is offering an international bond worth two billion dollars to finance the projected fiscal deficit for 2020

The Sultanate of Oman announced that it is seeking to raise two billion dollars through the issuance of two-tranches international bonds.

The Ministry of Finance in Oman announced today, Saturday, that the Sultanate will return to the global debt market by issuing two tranches of international bonds with a maturity period of 7 years and 12 years, according to the Oman News Agency.

The Ministry of Finance stated that the Sultanate aims to raise two billion dollars, within the framework of the approved government plan to finance the expected deficit for the current year 2020.
