Iraq begins producing 30,000 masks per day

Today, Tuesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced that it will start producing masks in the ready-to-wear garment factory in the city of Mosul, affiliated to the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries.
A statement issued by the Ministry stated, "The production of masks with a capacity of 30,000 masks per day was started in the ready-to-wear garment factory in Mosul, which is affiliated to the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries."
He added that "the factory started producing masks for the purpose of supplying treasures and hospitals and putting them on the market soon at cheap prices compared to the selling prices in pharmacies that raised prices after the outbreak of the Corona virus, considering that these masks are one of the ways to prevent the virus."
